Lake County Art League Members Show and Critique by Noted Artist and Teacher Paula Palmer at Benny Center May 17th

The Lake County Art League is celebrating 75 years of art and art education.  Members of League currently have over 35 pieces of art on display through May 17th at the Jack Benny Center for the Arts, located in Bowen Park, 1800 North Sheridan Road, in Waukegan.   Painter and mixed-media artist  Paula Palmer  will conduct a critique of the artwork on Monday, May 17th, at 7:00 pm at the Benny Center, and the public is invited to this free event.

Paula Palmer  was an art teacher at Grayslake Community High School for many years. In addition to a Master’s degree in painting, she painted overseas as part of a program with the Maryland Institute College of Art and Design.  Being immersed in other cultures and in her work for extended periods were  rich experiences for Paula and  very much influenced her work.
